🚨 Drama in Tenby! 🚨 A 21-year-old, described as having an “unhealthy interest in weapons,” turned a quiet day into chaos with a shocking attack. Armed with a push-dagger and flick-knife, Oliver Dowling stirred up trouble at a local estate, leading to a shocking altercation.

In broad daylight, Dowling was spotted making threats outside a home. When confronted, he headbutted his victim, and during their struggle, stabbed the man in the stomach. Amazingly, the victim didn’t realise he’d been stabbed until he noticed blood on his trousers later. Despite the serious injury, he managed to get medical attention, only to leave the hospital against medical advice.
But the drama wasn’t over. Dowling returned to the scene, causing more trouble and prompting a police call-out. By the time armed officers found him chilling in a pub car park, he was oddly fascinated, quizzing them about their weapons!

In court, Dowling admitted to unlawful wounding among other charges. He’s no stranger to trouble, given past offences related to disorderly conduct and substance misuse. His lawyer pointed out Dowling’s mental health struggles and substance issues, suggesting a need for structured support.

Judge Eugen Egan acknowledged Dowling was “spoiling for trouble” but opted for a suspended sentence. Dowling received 15 months, suspended for 24 months, and must go through drug rehab. There’s also a £500 compensation order and a five-year restraining order to keep him in check.
While the sentence aims to steer Dowling towards a better path, the incident leaves a community shaken and a victim who no longer feels safe at home. What a cautionary tale of how things can spiral when you’re “excitable” with an urge for trouble! 😳🔪💥
