Kaine Peterson, 26, his brother Kurtis, 19, and their associate Ryan Beirne, 31, were living the high life with thousands of pounds, stacks of cash, and plenty of illegal business. But their lavish days were cut short! This Newport trio was neck-deep in a conspiracy to supply cocaine and their secret couldn’t stay hidden for long!

Their downfall began when Gwent Police caught wind of their operation through text messages and “text bombs,” offering controlled substances left and right. They even posed with their illegal haul, snapping selfies with white powder and cash galore. Bold move, right?
Everything unravelled between September 2024 and February this year, revealing how these three masterminds ran their drug-dealing ring. Kurtis made it easy for authorities by directing deals to his brother Kaine via texts, while Beirne tucked away cocaine at home like a mini-warehouse. But justice had a way of catching up!

Police swooped in, arresting Kurtis during a raid, while Kaine wasn’t too far behind, nabbed in a car. And Beirne had a wild moment caught red-handed trying to flush evidence down the loo!

In total, cops seized nearly 99g of cocaine, worth an eye-watering £9,570. And when the law came calling, all three had no choice but to plead guilty to conspiring to supply the hard stuff. Sentences came down hard: 52 months for Kurtis, 68 for Kaine, and Beirne faced 72 months behind bars.
As for the ill-gotten gains, a court heard Kaine pocketed nearly £16,000 from his antics but will cough up just £800 of his hidden assets. Pay up in 28 days—or nab yourself an additional week’s stay at Her Majesty’s pleasure!
It’s a stark reminder: crime might pay in cash for a while, but it doesn’t escape justice forever! 💥
