**Heartwarming Reunion: Dog Walker Saved by a Quick-Thinking Hero! πΆβ€οΈ**

In a twist of fate, Alan Hale, 75, was out for a casual stroll with his two Shih-Tzus in Sully when he suddenly collapsed from cardiac arrest. Enter Rachel Green, the hero of the story, who was on her way to the gym when she noticed Alan’s dogs wandering alone. πΆββοΈπ
Rachel, 39, explained, “I spotted a backpack and two loose dogs by the road, and something seemed off.” Her instincts proved right when she discovered Alan lying face-down, struggling to breathe. Without hesitation, Rachel dialed 999, and with the guidance of emergency responders, began CPR.

“All I could think about was doing everything I could to help,” Rachel recalled. And help she did! With a team effort that included retrieval of a defibrillator by Ryan Harrison, the Hayes Point groundskeeper, and additional support from a passerby and an off-duty nurse, Alanβs heartbeat was restored after one crucial shock. πβ‘
After ten days of recovery at the University Hospital of Wales, Alan was finally able to meet and thank Rachel, Ryan, and the paramedics who saved his life. “I have no memory of that morning,” Alan shared. “But I’m eternally grateful to Rachel and everyone involved. I owe them my life.”
Emma Wood from the Welsh Ambulance Service praised the life-saving efforts: “Rachel and Ryan’s swift actions made all the difference. Their story highlights how crucial early CPR and defibrillation are.”
