Exciting news for early risers! Get ready to welcome brighter mornings as the sun’s rising earlier, giving us a stunning start to the day!

From March 22, the UK will see its first 6am sunrise of 2026, with daylight breaking around 5.58am, and by the end of the month, it could be as early as 5.45am! But with the clock change on March 29, expect another adjustment. As mornings light up, the days feel longer, with sunsets after 6.30pm. This shift leads up to the Summer Solstice on June 21, marking the longest day of the year. π

But it’s not just about enjoying the view! More daylight means more Vitamin D, crucial for healthy bones, teeth, and muscles. The NHS advises that we can naturally soak up adequate sunlight from late March to September. However, be sun-safe and protect your skin when you’re soaking in those rays!
In winter, consider boosting your Vitamin D with supplements or Vitamin D-rich foods like oily fish, red meat, and egg yolks. Letβs make the most of fresher, longer days! π³π
