**Four Individuals Admit to Violent Disorder Following Large-Scale Fight Outside Welshpool Pub**

A violent confrontation outside a pub in Welshpool during the early hours of Sunday, 13 July 2025, has resulted in four people admitting to taking part in serious disorder. Dyfed-Powys Police officers responded to urgent reports of a brawl outside the Angel public house, located on Berriew Street in the town centre, where the situation rapidly escalated into what authorities have described as “significant disorder”.

According to the police, the disturbance was reported at approximately 3.10am, with members of the public witnessing scenes of “serious violence” outside the premises. Officers arrived on the scene soon after, launching immediate investigations that allowed for the swift identification and arrest of four individuals believed to have been central to the events.
The local community has expressed concern about the impact such violent outbreaks have on the sense of safety and well-being within Welshpool. Several residents reported being awakened by the commotion, and some have voiced worries about the growing frequency of disturbances in town centres during the late-night hours. Police officials have been keen to reassure locals that steps are being taken to address criminal behaviour and maintain public order.
Following their arrests, the four suspects appeared before Mold Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, 17 July 2025. They each faced charges relating to affray, with additional offences applying to one individual. Troy Manuel, 21, Kayden Manuel, 18, and Ryan Jones, 21, all of Welshpool, admitted to charges of violent disorder. Jack Dixon, 19, from the same area, faced further charges including possession with intent to supply Class A cocaine, possession with intent to supply Class B cannabis, and possession of criminal property, alongside affray. Dixon pleaded guilty to all charges.
Both Troy and Kayden Manuel were remanded in custody while they await sentencing at Mold Crown Court, scheduled for 7 August 2025. Jack Dixon, due to the seriousness of his offences, was also further remanded in custody, pending sentencing on the same date. Ryan Jones, though he admitted to his involvement in the violent incident, was granted conditional bail and is set to appear for sentencing alongside the others at Mold Crown Court.
Dyfed-Powys Police have continued to appeal for members of the public who may have witnessed the incident, or anyone with relevant information, to come forward. Officials emphasise the importance of community support in addressing such incidents, while members of the public are being encouraged to report details either through the force’s online contact platforms, via email, or by telephone. Anonymously submitted reports are also welcome through the independent charity Crimestoppers.
Commenting on the outcome, Chief Inspector Matthew Price of Dyfed-Powys Police praised the “dedication and proactivity” of the Powys priority policing team. He highlighted the urgency with which officers worked to track down and detain those involved, acknowledging the support received from various police departments and the local community. Chief Inspector Price remarked that the police response reflected the gravity of the situation and underscored their commitment to public safety.
The police have reiterated their thanks to the Welshpool community for their co-operation thus far, acknowledging that incidents of such magnitude can have a profound and unsettling effect on residents. The case serves as yet another reminder of the ongoing challenges faced by police in tackling night-time violence, particularly around licensed premises.
Anyone with additional information about the events outside the Angel pub on 13 July is being asked to provide details, quoting incident reference number 060 of that date. Police stress that any piece of information, no matter how minor it may seem, could prove invaluable in supporting their ongoing investigation and ensuring that justice is served for all those affected by the incident.
As the four individuals await sentencing, there is a sense in Welshpool that further efforts will be needed to protect the town centre and prevent similar acts of violence in the future. The case remains a topic of considerable discussion among local residents, who hope that the strong police response will act as a deterrent and restore confidence in public safety across the area.
