In a heartfelt tribute to famed drag star The Vivienne, their family has opened a drug support centre to aid those struggling with addiction. Located in Colwyn Bay, House of The Vivienne aims to break the stigma surrounding ketamine and other substances. Led by The Vivienne’s sister, Chanel Williams, this safe haven offers free, confidential support every Tuesday.

The Vivienne, known for winning the inaugural season of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK and competing on Drag Race All Stars in the US, openly discussed their own battles with ketamine. Tragically, they passed away at 32 due to a cardiac arrest linked to the drug. Determined to honour their legacy, the family founded the centre to offer a compassionate space where those in need can find guidance and understanding.
Chanel emphasises the importance of creating an inclusive environment: “This is for anyone who feels alone. James would want you to know you matter, your life matters, and there is help. There is always hope.” Through partnerships with local organisations, they aim to expand support nationwide. House of The Vivienne is more than a tribute; it’s a beacon of hope and a testament to The Vivienne’s enduring impact. 💖🏳️🌈
