Inmate Involved in Gruesome Group Attack on Victim Passes Away Behind Bars

Terence Townsend, a convicted murderer from Cardiff, has passed away at 68 while serving a life sentence at HMP Buckley Hall. Townsend was found guilty in 2007 for the brutal murder of John Dunn, a homeless man, in a Weston-super-Mare bedsit. The gruesome attack was reportedly over just £12 and involved Townsend and his friends, who were all found guilty.

John Dunn suffered over 100 injuries in the savage assault that involved punching, kicking, stabbing, and use of broken bottles. Townsend, along with his accomplices, was sentenced to life imprisonment for their horrifying crime, with a minimum term of 14 years.
