ππ GCSE Results Day Celebrations Across Wales! ππ

Thousands of students across Wales are all smiles as they finally received their GCSE results this week. For many, it’s a triumph over years of pandemic disruptions. Back in the day, they experienced school closures and got used to learning in small bubbles or remotely. But now, the Class of 2025 is ready to celebrate their hard-earned achievements!

There’s exciting news as top grades are up this year, with lots of students achieving the magical five A* to C grades in English and Maths. Cheers to all the students who overcame personal challenges, including some who are refugees or who have faced difficult times.
Some students returned to schools on its final GCSE results day to bid farewell as it closes its doors. Others are preparing to embark on new adventures β whether that’s A-levels, apprenticeships, or jumping straight into the world of work.
From twins smashing their exams together to birthday celebrations on results day, and pupils travelling across cities to collect their results, these students have shown resilience and determination.
A special mention goes to those who’ve gone above and beyond, like siblings Curtis and Evie, who left St. Joseph’s with strings of A* grades. Or Azza, who dreams of attending Oxford, and managed to overcome the nerves to achieve fantastic results!
St Richard Gwyn High in Barry and other schools across Wales are celebrating big-time, with impressive percentages of students achieving top grades. There are balloon-filled gatherings, friends hugging with relief, and high-fives all around.
To the students getting ready for the next chapter: Well done and good luck! Your hard work has truly paid off. Weβre all rooting for your success and excited to see where your journey takes you next! #GCSEresults #WalesCelebrates #NextChapterReady ππ
