Great news for all nature lovers and beachgoers in Pembrokeshire! The Pembrokeshire Coast National Park is stepping up to ensure the upkeep of 10 public toilets at some of our most cherished Welsh beauty spots continues. 🏖️🚻

Despite some financial wrangling, the park has agreed to continue funding these essential facilities with a budget of nearly £123,000 annually for the next two years. This will support much-loved locations such as Manorbier, Newport Sands, and Saundersfoot, among others.

While the county council initially requested a £142,986 contribution, which included extra funds for potential improvements, the park authorities decided to go with a more practical approach. They’re opting for an inflation-adjusted support package without the additional £2,000 per toilet investment.
There’s also a suggestion to re-open toilets at Penally car park if additional contributions can be found. However, with financial challenges ahead, including a projected £566,000 shortfall, the park is treading carefully with its commitments.
So, wherever your adventures take you in Pembrokeshire, rest assured that these facilities will be there to make your visits comfortable. Keep an eye on any updates regarding this, especially if you love visiting our stunning coastal spots. 🌊✨
