Exciting news for garden and food lovers! Pugh’s Garden Village is making a big splash in Abergavenny with the launch of their new kitchen cafe, set to open this January. This marks their second food venture following the success of Garden Kitchen by Pugh’s in Rogerstone, Newport.

Thanks to a generous £450,000 boost from NatWest, the Abergavenny site promises more than just delicious bites. It will offer a spacious 60-seat restaurant, alongside workshops and advice sessions on growing your own food and embracing sustainable practices.
Pugh’s, a family business with deep Welsh roots that started in the 1950s, is known for its expertise in garden and community engagement. Nicola Pugh highlights the importance of diversification to keep things fresh and exciting. She says, “With NatWest’s support, we’re thrilled to expand into new communities, introducing innovative concepts that energise our business and make a lasting impact.”

Graham Pugh adds, “Pugh’s are blending a proud family history with modern commitments to retail and community spirit. Our new Abergavenny venue will be a place where everyone feels at home, fostering connection and supporting the local economy.”

Matthew Maunder from NatWest praises this expansion as a brilliant fusion of tradition and innovation. He looks forward to seeing the positive impact of this new community hub.
