Amanda Holden’s High-Flying Rosé Request Leaves Alan Carr in Stitches 😂✈️❄️
Amanda Holden, the Britain’s Got Talent star, hilariously found herself the butt of a joke on a recent podcast appearance with comedian pal Alan Carr. Despite being used to the finer things in life, Amanda’s high hopes for a little luxury on budget airline Ryanair didn’t quite take flight. During their trips to Italy for their BBC show “Amanda & Alan’s Italian Job,” Amanda made it a habit to ask for ice with her rosé. However, to her surprise, Ryanair didn’t come equipped with her request.
Alan, ever the comedian, cheekily compared Amanda’s expectations to dining at The Ivy “on wings.” 🎙️ Talking on the Saving Grace podcast, he quipped, “Unless they go and scrape it off the wings, love. There’s not going to be any ice on this Ryanair flight!”
Although Amanda couldn’t get her rosé iced, it did lead to some light-hearted ribbing from Alan. Meanwhile, Amanda’s husband, Chris Hughes, occasionally gives her grief over her drinking habits, but as Amanda jokingly noted, Alan never judges! 🤣🥂
The fun duo turned their Italian escapade into a hit TV series, and since then, they’ve taken on new adventures in Spain and are currently working on a Greek-themed project. With their renovation antics and love for a tipple, Amanda and Alan’s next series promises plenty more laughs and maybe a few more ice-cube mishaps!
Despite a recent hitch with Netflix axing one of her shows, Amanda’s spirits soared as she hosted a fabulous Mexican-themed party, surrounded by celebrity friends like Tamzin Outhwaite and Bruno Tonioli.
