At just under seven weeks old, Idris was found all alone with his eyes still closed, his survival chances looking slim. Local heroes reached out to the UK Wild Otter Trust, who quickly stepped in to give him the care he desperately needed. Over the next few days, this little fighter was kept going with milk until he was robust enough to travel – and guess what? Idris thrived!
Under the watchful eyes of experts at the UK’s Specialist Otter Rehabilitation Centre in North Devon, Idris not only gained strength but also some furry friends. One of his new playmates had even wandered into the flamingo habitat at Colchester Zoo – quite the adventure!
