After getting a major splash from the floods last month, M&S Monmouth is all set to roll up its shutters this Saturday, 6th December, at 8am! 🎉
Storm Claudia left Monmouth in a mess, with rivers overflowing and submerging our beloved Monnow Street. The night of the 15th November was a whirlwind, literally, with emergency crews working tirelessly, rescuing and safeguarding residents. In just 12 hours, we saw a staggering 119.6mm of rainfall! 🌊🚨
Amidst this chaos, our local M&S Foodhall took a hit but bounced back remarkably. Huge props to Benjy Morris, the Store Manager, and his amazing team of 32 who worked round the clock to resurrect the store. Some even postponed their holidays just to ensure everything is tip-top for us. Now that’s dedication! 👏💪

From fresh, quality fruit and veg to those scrumptious ready-to-eat meals, and not forgetting over 100 ‘Remarkable Value’ essentials, there’s plenty to look forward to. And yes, the in-store bakery is back to tempt you with a daily selection of fresh breads and pastries. 🥖🥐 Plus, the M&S Wine Shop is restocked just in time for those festive toasts. 🥂🎄
Regular store hours are back, too: Monday to Friday from 8am to 8pm, Saturdays until 7pm, and Sundays from 10am to 4pm.
