Ms Sultana had earlier alleged being sidelined and treated as part of a “sexist boys’ club” by Corbyn and several independent MPs. She remarked, “I have been treated appallingly and excluded completely,” which led her to initially consider legal action. However, in a gesture of goodwill, she announced that she will not pursue these proceedings, aiming instead to mend bridges and strengthen the new movement.

Though the party, still without an official name, was seen as a potential rival to Labour, Reform UK, and the Greens, recent turmoil has dampened its initial spark. One former Labour MP, Thelma Walker, cited the “embarrassing meltdown” of Your Party as her reason for leaving.

Ms Sultana remains engaged in talks with Corbyn and is hopeful for progress, saying, “I am determined to reconcile and move forward.”
