๐จ Health Alert: Cholera-like Disease Claims Life ๐จ

For the first time in over a century, a UK resident has died from a cholera-like disease. An 80-year-old man in Warwickshire passed away after falling ill at home. Initially thought to be norovirus due to the symptoms of sickness and diarrhoea, hospital tests revealed a type of bacteria known as Non-toxigenic Vibrio cholerae. While this strain doesn’t cause the deadly waterborne disease that ravaged the UK in the Victorian era, it’s a stark reminder of risks that lurk in certain conditions.
