🍼 Exciting news for parents! Aldi is rolling out a heartfelt initiative that could make a real difference in your journey through early parenthood. Partnering with the PANDAS Foundation, Aldi is introducing vital mental health messages on Mamia baby wipes across the UK.

These wipes now come with guidance on recognising signs of perinatal mental health issues like anxiety, low mood, and tearfulness. Importantly, they also include details for PANDAS’ free helpline and peer support groups, providing a lifeline for those who need it.

Did you know that while a whopping 75% of parents experience mental health struggles during or after pregnancy, only 17% actually seek specialist support? This new initiative aims to close that gap by making help more accessible and less intimidating.
Julie Ashfield, Aldi UK’s Chief Commercial Officer, emphasises the importance of visibility and support: “We want every parent to know they’re not alone. By putting these messages on our everyday products, we hope to bring comfort and connection to those who may be silently struggling.”
PANDAS Foundation CEO Annie Belasco also applauds this campaign for its potential to bring comfort and hope to struggling mums and dads, ensuring no parent feels isolated.
Even TV presenter and mum Kate Lawler is backing this incredible campaign! She shares, “Parenthood is a rollercoaster, and knowing you’re not alone can make all the difference. Aldi and PANDAS are providing much-needed support to parents right at their fingertips.”
Besides these on-pack messages, Aldi has launched a supportive webpage with more resources and has donated ÂŁ30,000 to boost PANDAS’ vital work.
Let’s spread the word and help make parenthood a more supported journey! If you or someone you know needs help, visit aldi.co.uk/brand/mamia/pandas ❤️
