🔴 UPDATE: Second Man Charged with Attempted Murder in Cardiff Park 🔴


There’s been a major development in the Cardiff park assault case. Christopher Newman, 43, from Caerau, stands charged with attempted murder, connected to a late-night incident on June 25th at Heol Trelai. Police attended the scene just before midnight after reports of a serious assault. A 32-year-old man was discovered critically injured and rushed to the University of Wales Hospital.

Christopher Newman is set to face Cardiff Magistrates’ Court today. Another man, Carl Gareth Newman, 39, also from Caerau, was previously charged and has pleaded not guilty. Carl Newman is slated to appear at Cardiff Crown Court on December 1st.
