Hey folks, brace yourselves as heavy rain is hitting us today across Wales! 🌧️ The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning affecting much of the south and west, including Cardiff, Swansea, and Carmarthenshire. Natural Resources Wales has also put 21 flood alerts and one major flood warning into effect due to rising river levels and persistent downpours.

Expect an unsettled afternoon with heavy rain that could lead to tricky travel conditions. Be prepared for road closures and potential flooding in some communities. In particular, the River Ely near Peterston Super Ely is a concern, with expected flooding in the area.
