Big changes are coming to Milford Haven Primary School! The green light has been given for essential fire safety upgrades, ensuring a safer learning environment for all. The approved plan includes installing new fire exit doors and internal improvements vital for both safety and accessibility.
What’s Changing?
– New fire exits and ramps for easy evacuation.
– Upgrades designed to meet current fire safety regulations.
– Internal improvements featuring new fire doors and loft hatches with a minimum 30-minute fire rating.
– Fire-resistant walls and ceilings to enhance structural safety.
These changes will affect all 11 classrooms, with multiple exits planned across the school to ensure easy access. Not only do these upgrades bring the school up to modern safety standards, but they also integrate ecological enhancements, like bird boxes and a water garden, promoting a greener future! 🌿
