A spectacular treasure trove has been uncovered in Wales that’s got everyone talking! In a remote Welsh field, he stumbled upon a clay pot half a metre underground filled with what experts are calling one of the largest hoards of Roman coins ever found in the UK!
This massive cache includes between 10,000 to 15,000 silver coins, weighing over 60kg, and features a mix of Roman denarii and silver-washed radiates. The significance of this find is off the charts, and it’s now safely in the hands of the National Museum Cardiff for expert analysis.
