🥳🎂 A Thriller Transformation! 🎂🤩

Welsh baker Emma Jayne Morris has pulled off something absolutely incredible—she’s recreated the King of Pop, Michael Jackson, almost entirely out of cake! This jaw-dropping creation channels the iconic 1980s Thriller era, just in time for Halloween.

Emma, a dedicated cake artist from Aberdare, spent three intense weeks bringing this unique vision to life. Imagine working 15 hours a day for 315 hours of creative obsession! She didn’t just whip up something sweet; she crafted MJ’s likeness using Rice Krispies, marshmallows, modelling chocolate, and a whopping 40kg of sugar paste. And get this—the whole structure is around 6ft tall!

But it’s not just cake magic; the cake’s head structure is supported by polystyrene, while the rest stays fresh with a mix of edible artistry. Emma intricately hand-painted the eyes, built up the face like a real skull and skeleton, and designed a steel frame to keep it standing tall.
Emma explained, “Choosing Michael Jackson was a no-brainer for me; he was a musical genius who inspired me growing up.” The timing couldn’t be more perfect with Halloween and the Cake International exhibition around the corner. Her masterpiece will take centre stage at Birmingham’s NEC from October 31st, and fans are sure to be amazed!
