ππ MOO-ve Over, Trains! ππ

Imagine heading out for a relaxing Sunday train journey and finding out your ride is delayed… by cows! That’s exactly what happened at Neath this weekend. Passengers were left stranded after some curious cattle decided to take a stroll along the tracks, causing all lines to be blocked and trains between Cardiff Central and Swansea to be either cancelled or delayed.
One traveller, Justin, was on the 10:32 am service to Bristol when he got caught up in the bovine blockade. His plans were thrown off course, and he expressed hope of still making it back home by the end of the day.

Thanks to the swift action of train staff, who took on the unexpected job of herding the cows off the tracks, services were gradually resumed. However, delays persisted until the early afternoon.

Great Western Railway kept passengers in the loop, sharing updates on social media and advising everyone to check their journeys. For those who experienced disruptions, the railway company offers options for refunds and compensation through their customer service team or directly at the station.
These cows certainly gave passengers a memorable Sunday to share with their friends and followers! If you were among those affected, make sure to sort your refunds, and keep those fingers crossed for a smoother journey next time. ππΌπ
