The real blow? The thief heartlessly sabotaged the place by opening freezers and fridges, spoiling all the stock! Director Marcin Sadlos shared the frustration, saying, “It’s one thing to break in and steal, but to intentionally ruin our operations is just disappointing.”
Despite this peculiar act of vandalism, the team at Burger Boyz have bounced back, resuming service with minimal disruption. 🙌 The community’s support has been overwhelming, with countless patrons rallying to place orders in solidarity. Marcin has been moved by the outpouring of goodwill, stating, “It’s uplifting to see everyone come together.”
This isn’t the first time the restaurant’s faced such a challenge. Marcin recalled previous attempts during their growth journey, but each time, their resilience wages on. South Wales Police are on the case, urging anyone with info to contact them and Burger Boyz is offering a £500 reward for any leads to catch the culprit.
Originally launched by schoolmates Marcin and Jack Phillips in 2021, the innovative duo leaped from engineering to the culinary world with bold dreams. Starting with a humble food truck, they expanded to permanent spots in Port Talbot and Cardiff, taking over a former restaurant location in Canton.
