🌞 Escape the UK gloom! 🌞

Fed up with the dreary weather and steep rent prices, Kelsey O’Mahoney, 26, and Russell Edwards, 41, made a bold move from Cannock, Staffordshire to sunny Egypt in January 2025. Swapping rain for 28°C winters, they traded their £820-a-month flat for a spacious three-bedroom oasis costing just £300. 🌴

After enjoying several holidays in the popular spot of Hurghada, and with Russell’s parents already settled there, the couple decided it was time to embrace a life of sunshine and savings 2,600 miles away. Their days are now filled with beachside relaxation and exploring local culture.

Kelsey, a former PA, is diving into a new venture as a content creator, sharing their sun-soaked life and showing off Egypt’s affordability. Imagine, fresh strawberries for 40p and two-course meals under £10! 🍓🍽
Their biggest expense? A mere £20 a month on bills like wifi and electricity, a significant drop from the £380 they paid in the UK. With vibrant skies, friendly locals, and a way more relaxed lifestyle, it’s a dream come true!
While saying goodbye to family was tough, Kelsey and Russell promise their new home is just a flight away for visiting loved ones. They’re loving every moment and can’t wait to spread the word about Egypt’s hidden treasures to potential holidaymakers around the world. ✈️
Thinking about a change of scenery? Egypt might just be your ideal paradise! 🏝️🥰 Follow their journey and discover more about this stunning locale!
