🚨 Hit and Run Alert in Llanrwst 🚨
A 13-year-old boy was seriously injured in a hit and run on Station Road, Llanrwst, on Monday, 18th August. The young lad reportedly lost his balance and stepped off the pavement when a black vehicle struck him. Despite slowing down, the driver did not stop, leaving the boy with a broken leg but thankfully no life-threatening injuries.
North Wales Police are on the hunt for the driver and are appealing to the public for any information. PC Martin Taylor shared, “The driver’s failure to stop has understandably left the boy’s family deeply upset.”
The police are urging anyone who was in the area at the time, or who may have dashcam footage, to assist in identifying the vehicle or the person behind the wheel. Let’s come together as a community to support this family and help bring accountability.
