After struggling with knee and groin issues, Kion now suffers from a torn quad, following a recent training session mishap. This is devastating news, especially since his return was eagerly anticipated over Christmas. 🎄
Rotherham manager Matt Hamshaw explains the situation, “Sadly, Kion’s ripped his quad. We’re doing all we can, but it looks like he could be out for two or three months, maybe longer.”
Despite managing his game time to help him recover, this recent setback is a tough blow. Kion had only managed nine appearances for Rotherham since his move in the summer. His stint was meant to reignite his career, following a challenging period with Cardiff City and Bolton Wanderers.
