Aaron Stenning, 37, was sentenced after a shocking incident was caught on camera. Having been previously convicted for possessing the worst kind of indecent images, Stenning once again finds himself on the wrong side of the law.
While celebrating his birthday, Stenning returned home to Abercynon in the early hours and filmed himself exposing and touching himself in the street. No one was around, but his antics were caught on CCTV and seen the following day. This video led to his arrest and a court date.
Stenning, already under a Sexual Harm Prevention Order for previous offences, managed to breach this order by creating a social media alias without informing the police. Admitting to both exposure and breaching his SHPO, Stenning found himself in hot water once more.
Despite his lawyer’s argument that Stenning had cooperated with his SHPO in all other ways, his troubled past and loss of family, Judge Vanessa Francis wasn’t swayed. Stenning was sentenced to 15 weeks in prison, and he’s now barred from staying in the area due to his actions.
His lawyer stated that Stenning described his behaviour as a “kink” and acknowledged the need to change his ways. Let’s hope that he gets the necessary help and realises the serious implications of his actions.
