🔹 **Registration & IDs**: If your drone weighs between 250g and 25kg or falls into certain categories (UK1-UK4), you’ll need a Flyer ID and Operator ID. For lighter drones (100g-250g), a Flyer ID is necessary, and if it has a camera, an Operator ID too.

🔹 **Light Drones**: Under 100g? You might skip the ID, but the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) still recommends getting a Flyer ID to sharpen your flying skills.

🔹 **Indoor Flights**: Flying indoors or in closed netted areas means no ID needed. Easy, right?

Jonathan Nicholson from the CAA stresses the importance of these changes, especially with drones topping Christmas lists. “We want everyone to enjoy their drones safely. Make sure you’re aware of the new rules and how to abide by them.”

❗ **For Young Pilots**: Kids under 13 need a Flyer ID and must have an adult present during the test. Those 12 or younger should be supervised by someone over 16 when flying.

Stay informed, comply with the new rules, and enjoy your airborne adventures! Happy and safe flying! 🌟✈️
