Charlotte Church has opened up about a memorable moment on ITV’s This Morning that left her slightly miffed. While performing a live sound bath, the usually giggly Alison Hammond found herself in hysterics, a moment that quickly went viral. Despite staying calm throughout the broadcast, Charlotte later revealed that Alison’s uncontrollable laughter didn’t sit well with her.

Chatting on the How To Fail podcast, Charlotte shared her frustration, admitting Alison’s reaction touched a “deep wound.” She added, “I’ve met Alison several times and she’s lovely, but at that moment, I was like, ‘Ugh, I really like you, Alison, but f*** you.'”

Reflecting on the experience, Charlotte confessed she might have misjudged the setting for a sound bath session. “Displaying this amazing art on national TV only for it to be turned into a joke really annoyed me,” she said.
Alison, realising her reaction might’ve been perceived as rude, apologised during the segment. But the laughter didn’t end there; the clip even made its way onto Gogglebox, sparking more giggles and banter.
Besides her vibrant TV appearances, Charlotte runs The Dreaming, a wellness centre in Powys, which offers spiritual retreats and sound healing sessions. She champions the transformative power of sound, underlining its profound impact on relaxation and overall well-being.
