🎸 Martin Kemp’s Frightening Chainsaw Mishap! 🎸

Spandau Ballet’s Martin Kemp recently faced a terrifying close call with a chainsaw that left his hand bandaged and his family deeply shaken. The 64-year-old legend picked up the chainsaw by its blade without a sheath, leading to a dramatic incident that nearly cost him a hand!
The harrowing event became public through Martin’s son, Roman Kemp. During his podcast, Roman described the chilling moment he received a photo from Martin with the caption, “Yep… Chainsaw,” showing his heavily bandaged hand. Shocked and worried, Roman and his sister, Harley, frantically tried to get more information.

Roman quipped that his dad should really hire professionals for such jobs, exclaiming, “He’s 65 and has more than enough dough – get a pro for that!”

Thankfully, Martin escaped major harm, though Roman noted how a friend of his wasn’t so lucky, having lost a finger in a similar mishap. Yikes! After the accident, Martin was rushed to hospital for a tetanus jab after colliding with his wife Shirlie in their frantic rush to control the bleeding.
And just imagine – comedian Tom Grennan jokingly pointed out how Shirlie might not be happy if Martin couldn’t play the guitar anymore! Talk about a silver lining to a scary story!
Despite the chaos, Martin’s tight-knit family shares heartwarming memories. Martin recalls the joy of watching old family videos, expressing a fond nostalgia for when his children were little – a testament to the beautiful moments family brings, no matter the circumstances.
We’re all relieved Martin’s okay! Let’s hope he leaves the chainsaw work to the pros from now on! 🙌🌳
