Heartfelt tributes have been pouring in for Demi Edmunds, a 17-year-old from Caldicot who tragically lost her life in a crash on the A4042 in Cwmbran. Described as bubbly, smart, and strong-minded, Demi was loved by all who knew her.

Her brother Jake shared touching words about their close bond, calling her the “best sister” who was funny, kind, and caring. He expressed his deep loss, hoping she’s in a better place now.
Demi’s family fondly remembered her as a beloved daughter, granddaughter, sister, cousin, and niece. She adored her friends, and in return, they cherished her dearly. Emily Jo, Demi’s childhood friend, said she was a one-of-a-kind person with a resilient spirit and a bright mind.

A passionate traveller and creative soul, Demi loved drawing and baking. Her friends are organising a balloon release in her memory, set to take place at the Oasis Fields in Cwmbran on Saturday, February 21 at 2pm.
