Court appearance for suspect in tragic baby case sparks emotional courtroom showdown

A sombre and deeply emotional case unfolded at Swansea Crown Court as 28-year-old Thomas Morgan faced the charge of allegedly murdering baby Jensen-Lee Dougal in Clydach last March. Described by his barrister as a “tragic and difficult case,” it’s clear the proceedings are both complex and heart-wrenching.

Morgan, hailing from Penyrheol Road, Gorseinon, is set to remain in custody until his next court appearance. The court has decided to adjourn matters until October 17 to allow time for the defence to prepare reports. Only then, hope the defence, will there be a “more meaningful” plea and trial preparation hearing.
