Judge Paul Thomas had strong words for the duo, ensuring they realised the strong stance Swansea takes against Class A drug dealers. He charged the pair with passing this stern warning onto any drug connections: Sneaking illegal substances into Swansea? Expect a hefty sentence.

Hussain, with a previous record from 2019, received 7 years and 6 months. Bashir, found guilty post-trial and for attempting to mislead the police, got 7 years and 8 months.

South Wales Police Sergeant Luke Tucker highlighted the widespread impact these drugs have on users and communities. Hussain and Bashir’s long sentences send a clear message: Swansea’s streets have no place for drug dealers. 🚔👮‍♂️
