🏉 An Aberaeron rugby player pulled off a magic trick on the field, scoring a try that’s definitely one for the highlight reel! Jac Crompton, showing off some quick thinking and fancy footwork, turned what seemed like an ordinary play into a stunning solo try against Neyland.

Starting deep in his own 22, Crompton had pressure coming fast. Without missing a beat, he booted the ball downfield and took off like a rocket. While Neyland’s full-back was lining up to collect, the ball took a friendly bounce for Jac. He toe-poked it ahead and zipped around defenders to scoop it up and touch down over the line. Just wow! 🤯

Crompton’s clever antics helped Aberaeron clinch a thrilling 30-26 pre-season win. His pace and skill have certainly caught the eye of the coaches. Dyfrig Dafis, one of Aberaeron’s backs coaches, praised Jac’s speed and decision-making, saying this try will surely shine on their end-of-season highlights.
Aberaeron is riding high after being promoted, kicking off League 2 West with a solid win against Fishguard and Goodwick RFC. Next, they’re gearing up to face a tough Loughor side. With Jac Crompton in form, anything’s possible! 🏆
