Veeqo, a tech venture of Amazon, has officially opened its new global HQ right in the heart of Swansea’s city centre! ππ Their shiny new office at 71/72 Kingsway is part of a flagship Β£60m development and is set to be a hub for innovation and growth.

Since being snapped up by Amazon in 2021, Veeqo has tripled its workforce from 60 to a whopping 200 employees worldwide. About half of those talented individuals are now based in their state-of-the-art Swansea office. This move marks a huge step in Veeqo’s journey as they continue to help over 100,000 businesses optimise their e-commerce operations with slick inventory and shipping software. π¦β¨
The Swansea office will not only host highly skilled roles like software engineers and UX designers but is also committed to the community by working closely with local universities to support students, apprentices, and graduate interns. π«π©βπ»
Amazon’s UK country manager, John Boumphrey, praised Swansea’s incredible talent and ambition, highlighting Veeqoβs massive growth as evidence of the region’s potential. “It’s a testament to Wales’ capability to nurture world-class technology,” he said.
