Amy is back home and resting up after undergoing a second mastectomy recently. The brave 35-year-old shared that her surgery went well and her recovery is expected to be straightforward. She’s surrounded by flowers, family, and friends, all keeping her spirits up. Even though she’s not able to participate in this year’s Strictly, Amy’s cheering everyone on from home, ready to enjoy the show that means so much to her.
For those who don’t know, Amy’s journey with breast cancer began back in 2023 when she discovered a lump during her honeymoon. Through the years, she’s battled on with incredible grace and positivity, even sharing how partnering with Tom Fletcher in Strictly led her to take her health seriously, ultimately saving her life.
Her determination and openness have inspired countless people, and her resilience continues to shine. Despite having to leave the show early last year due to injury, and this year’s early exit with Frank Skinner, she’s never far from the hearts of her fans.
