Devastating news for Wales wing Regan Grace as he’s hit with yet another injury setback, leaving his rugby career in turmoil. The 29-year-old has faced a string of challenges since switching from rugby league, but this latest Achilles injury on his opposite leg has him heading into surgery once more.

After battling a ruptured Achilles that kept him sidelined at Racing 92 and navigating through spells with Bath and Cardiff, Grace signed with Sale Sharks but has only managed to play a handful of games over the past three years. This setback is particularly tough after returning to international action in 2024.

Sharing his thoughts on Instagram, Grace admits, “I love rugby, and I’d have walked away if I didn’t, but this is tough to process.” He remains grateful for the support system around him, especially from his partner, Nina. Despite the hardships, his passion for the sport remains unshaken. “As long as my body allows, I’m going to keep going,” he insists.
Just weeks ago, Grace expressed his determination to The Times, stating that his perseverance through injuries has been a source of personal pride, even recalling moments at Racing 92 when his commitment moved staff to tears.
Join us in sending support to Regan as he faces another long recovery. His resilience is truly inspiring, and we hope to see him back doing what he loves soon! 🏉❤️
