π Think your passwords are safe? Think again! Ethical hacker Brandyn Murtagh has shown how cybercriminals can crack passwords in under three minutes using just public data breaches π±. In a shocking demonstration, Brandyn unveiled passwords, home addresses, phone numbers, and even recent locations of volunteers π΅οΈββοΈ β all ripe for misuse.

Working with Virgin Media O2, Brandyn is on a mission to boost our password security after discovering that one in 20 Brits still use “password” as their password! π±π A survey revealed many also choose “password1,” “123456,” and other easy-to-crack combos. Surprisingly, many still stick with these despite the risks π¬.
