Eyewitnesses reported seeing multiple fire engines and police vehicles rushing to the scene. Emergency personnel worked tirelessly near the footbridge crossing the A4233 bypass, scanning the river to locate the woman.
South Wales Police reported that upon arrival, they found her in the water desperately holding onto a branch for support. Thankfully, the brave team from the fire service managed to rescue her safely. 🚑
