Tragedy struck the football world as Radnicki 1923’s manager, Mladen Zizovic, passed away at just 44 during a match in Serbia. During the game against Mladost, Zizovic suffered a heart attack on the touchline, collapsing only 22 minutes in. Despite immediate medical attention, he couldn’t be saved, leaving the football community heartbroken.

The players were visibly devastated, collapsing to the ground in tears. The match initially paused for Zizovic’s emergency transport to the hospital but resumed, only to be called off after news of his passing reached the stadium.

Having taken over as manager on October 23, Zizovic had been overseeing just his third match with Radnicki 1923. Previously, he had managed FK Borac Banja Luka, guiding them in last season’s Europa Conference League.
Tributes have poured in for Zizovic, a former Bosnia international who leaves behind three children. The Serbian FA expressed deep sorrow, calling his death a huge loss to football. They and clubs like Partizan Belgrade and Red Star Belgrade extended heartfelt condolences to his family and Radnicki 1923.
Rest in peace, Mladen Zizovic. Your passion for the game and the impact you made will not be forgotten. 🌟 #RIPMladen #FootballFamily
