🚗💥 Italian Holiday Horrors in Wales 💥🚗

Imagine flying into the UK for a serene holiday and ending up with an £1,800 bill! That’s precisely what happened to Maria Bandini, an Italian tourist whose trip to Wales took a turn for the worse.

Maria, on her way to picturesque Pembrokeshire with her boyfriend Alberto, was stuck in traffic on the M4 when the unexpected happened. A van smashed into the back of her rental car and drove off without a trace! 😱

The crash happened near Newport, and although Maria and Alberto were fine, the Citroen C4 took some serious damage. The culprit? A light-coloured van, possibly a Volkswagen, that fled the scene before they could note down the number plate. Talk about a hit-and-run nightmare! 🚐💨
Gwent Police are currently on the case, scouring CCTV to hopefully track down the runaway van driver. But until then, poor Maria is stuck with a hefty bill from the car rental company, who can’t recover costs without the runaway driver’s details.
Despite this holiday hiccup, Maria hasn’t let the mishap dampen her love for Wales. Memories of helping out at her aunt’s pub in Tenby as a child still bring her joy. While she awaits some justice, she’s pleading for any public information to help catch the mystery driver and clear her of this unexpected debt.
Spread the word, folks! 🙏 If you have any info that could help identify the van, don’t hesitate to come forward. Let’s help Maria get back to enjoying her Welsh adventure without this costly cloud hanging over her.
