π¨ Court Drama Unfolds as Man Denies Driving Into Liverpool Parade Crowd π¨

Paul Doyle, 53, found himself in the spotlight as he appeared in court accused of a serious incident at Liverpool’s Premier League victory parade. The West Derby resident faces 31 charges but pleaded not guilty to all. The allegations stem from a chaotic scene back in May when a car ploughed into celebrating fans, injuring over 100 individuals, some as young as six months old and as old as 77 years!

During his video-linked court appearance, Doyle stood accused of dangerous driving, affray, and a slew of charges including 18 counts of attempting to cause grievous bodily harm with intent. Itβs a complex case, with 24 new charges added recently!

The streets of Liverpool turned into turmoil as the Ford Galaxy made its way through the crowd on Water Street. The aftermath saw 50 people needing hospital care. Doyle, clad in glasses and a grey T-shirt, appeared composed yet occasionally shook his head during the proceedings.
Merseyside Police had earlier revealed that 134 were hurt in the unfortunate event. The legal journey continues as the alleged victims await justice.
