A serious collision on the A55 in Flintshire left a man with severe injuries after his grey Vauxhall Astra estate veered into the central reservation. Happening on a Saturday afternoon, the accident took place near junction 32 as the car joined the A55 eastbound from the A5026 Billy Jeans Café slip road.
Swiftly, emergency services were on the scene and the injured man was airlifted to a hospital in Stoke. Though the man is in hospital receiving treatment, his injuries are still considered serious.
