In a dramatic attempt to dodge the law, 25-year-old Joshua Olatunboson was caught tossing cocaine out of his car window! The black bag sailed through the air just as police swooped in on his Vauxhall Corsa in Hersham, Surrey. Spoiler: it didn’t work. Officers quickly found the bag, which contained what looked like cocaine. Joshua was promptly arrested for possessing a Class A substance with an intent to supply, adding to his existing troubles under a suspended sentence.

But that’s not all! A further search linked to Olatunboson uncovered more than 78 grams of cannabis, £2,140 in cash, and drug paraphernalia like scales—clear evidence of a drug supply operation. His phone also revealed messages about drug dealing. Joshua eventually admitted to the charges of possessing with intent to supply both Class A and B drugs.
The Guildford Crown Court didn’t take it lightly. On August 21, Joshua was sentenced to three years and eight months in prison, aiming to keep him off the streets of Elmbridge. Investigating Officer PC Jivan Aulakh highlights the negative impact of drug dealing in communities and applauded the justice served. Another drug dealer off the streets means safer communities for all!
