🛬✈️ Drama in the Skies! 🚨 EasyJet Flight’s Unexpected Adventure

Passengers on easyJet flight U22708 had quite the Sunday adventure! En route from Madrid to Bristol, the flight encountered a mid-air hiccup. A bird strike at Bristol Airport temporarily closed the runway, prompting an emergency refuelling stop at Liverpool John Lennon Airport.

Initially scheduled to touch down in Bristol at 10:00pm, the aircraft found itself in a holding pattern, circling above with precious fuel dwindling. As minutes ticked on, pilots made the crucial decision to declare a fuel emergency. The plane safely landed in Liverpool at 10:57pm for a necessary refuel.
With all safety checks complete and fuel tanks topped up, the journey resumed, ultimately reaching Bristol at 12:12am. Kudos to the crew for handling it all with expertise and keeping passengers safe!
