💔 A school community is in mourning after the tragic loss of teaching assistant Angela Shellis, who was found dead in Prestatyn. Angela’s 18-year-old son, Tristan Thomas Roberts, has been charged with her murder. This heart-breaking news has deeply affected everyone at Rhyl High School, where Angela worked since 2023.

Headteacher Philip Collins shared his sadness, stating, “Angela was a caring and committed member of our team. We will support our students and staff in coming to terms with this loss.”

A touching tribute to Angela’s memory, a Gofundme initiative, has already raised thousands. The funds will help with funeral and memorial costs and support mental health and autism charities, reflecting Angela’s kindness and her spirit of putting others first.
Her sister, Sarah Gunther, expressed the family’s grief, saying, “Angela was only 45, full of love and a joy to everyone she met. Losing her so suddenly has left us devastated. We’re working to give her the memorial she deserves.”
The family is grateful for any support, whether through donations or spreading the word. Every bit helps keep Angela’s generous spirit alive. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family during this difficult time. 🌹
