🔍 Unbelievable manoeuvre caught on camera! A daring pensioner on a mobility scooter has swiped more than £250 worth of steaks from a Co-op in Peterborough! 🚨

Malcolm Ravenhill, 63, was spotted on CCTV boldly rolling up to the meat aisle and hiding the premium cuts in his scooter. Just days before, he’d been given a chance to turn over a new leaf after being involved in similar antics. 😲

On September 2nd, while sporting a bright orange jumper, he casually parked his scooter next to the meat fridge and loaded it up without a flicker of concern for the shoppers around him. This latest caper follows a suspended sentence handed to him only a week earlier at Peterborough Magistrates’ Court for a string of past thefts. 🛒🥩

Ravenhill was soon linked to the crime via CCTV and arrested at his residence on Dogsthorpe Road. Last Wednesday, he found himself back in court facing the music with a one-year jail sentence. 🎥
PC Sam Malton of the Spree Offender Team wasn’t surprised but expressed relief that Ravenhill was identified: “He’s a serial offender and seemed unfazed by the potential consequences. I’m glad he’s finally facing justice.”
Just goes to show, sometimes not even second chances are enough! 🤷♂️⚖️ #CrimeNews #CaughtOnCam #JusticeServed #SteakHeist
