A helicopter has crashed near a factory site in the north of England, prompting a massive emergency response. South Yorkshire Police reported that the crash occurred around 10:14 am today at Ings Lane, Bentley. Authorities are urging everyone to steer clear of the area as emergency teams work tirelessly to manage the situation. Ings Lane is currently closed, so expect delays and plan alternative routes if you’re in the vicinity.


The incident is reported to have happened near Refood, a food waste recycling facility on Ings Road. Eyewitnesses have spotted at least 30 emergency service vehicles at the scene. Itβs believed the helicopter took off from Gamston Airport near Retford, Nottinghamshire, just after 10 am.
