🚨 **Incident on Cardiff’s Wood Street Bridge** 🚨

Heads up, Cardiff! A major section of the city centre was momentarily turned into a no-go zone last night as emergency services swiftly responded to a situation on Wood Street Bridge.

At around 5.15pm on Tuesday, police and fire crews were called in due to concerns over an individual’s safety. With the bridge hovering above the River Taff, it was temporarily shut down both ways as our local emergency heroes sprang into action.

In no time, three fire engines, two fire cars, and numerous police vehicles had arrived. Onlookers gathered, speculating and wondering what was unfolding. To manage the foot traffic, pedestrians were redirected via Millennium Walk, ensuring everyone stayed safe while services handled the matter efficiently.
The good news? The incident wrapped up by 6.15pm, and the road was reopened shortly after. 🚔🚒
Massive kudos to our emergency response teams for their quick work in resolving the situation and ensuring the safety of all involved. 🌟
Stay safe, Cardiff, and always be mindful when you’re out and about. 💙
