🍽️🌟 A Café Like No Other: Enjoy a Meal at Swansea’s Roundabout Church! 🚦

Picture this: you’re about to enjoy a delicious meal… right in the middle of a bustling roundabout! Yep, you heard it right. The once beautiful St John’s Church in Morriston, Swansea, has been wonderfully transformed into the quirky “Middle Of The Road” refectory and tea room, and it’s our latest must-visit spot!

Despite initial doubts, this bold venture has turned out to be a delightful surprise. Whether you’re soaking in the charm of original stained glass windows or marvelling at the vintage décor with quirky touches like a ceiling-strapped bicycle, there’s so much character packed into every corner.
Upon arrival through the grand red doors, you’ll find an inviting atmosphere that draws you in. The menu is sure to tempt your taste buds with offerings like paninis, sweet treats, and an array of hot and iced drinks. 🌿☕ The bacon and brie panini we tried was a delight, and a perfect pairing with the creamy latte!
While enjoying your meal, the historical essence of the building is celebrated with wall art featuring biblical verses alongside intriguing relics. Even more impressive, despite its unique location, the hustle and bustle of outside traffic seem to vanish once you step inside.
If you fancy an alfresco experience, take a seat at one of the outdoor tables – it’s an opportunity to savour your meal while soaking in the unique surroundings.
So, ready to cross the road to the centre of the roundabout and try something new? Middle Of The Road is open from 9am to 4pm daily, but closed on Sundays. 🚶♂️✨
Leave behind your preconceptions, step in for an extraordinary café experience, and become a part of this remarkable story in the heart of Swansea. 🏛️❤️
